Position :  Java developers with Geospatial tools or industries experience
Location :  Richmond, VA
Duration : 6 Months

Need GC or citizen

JD:
Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming
applications
Creating a work break down structure to aid in the managing of task
assignments and schedule
Actively participates in organization’s software development policies and
procedures
Recognizes software programming problems/issues and begins to provide
solutions
Communicating project schedule, budget, delivery issues and resource
concerns to the Project Manager
Competencies and Abilities
Experienced with Java
Understanding of Object Oriented Analysis and Design
Experience with an Object Oriented programming language
Understanding of Relational Databases
Experience with Open Source Software
Knowledge of software build and deployment processes, procedures and tools
Core Technologies
Geo Tools, Geo Server, UTS, Spatial DB (Ex. Postgis, Oracle Spatial), Web
Mapping (Ex. Open Layers, Google Maps)
PostgreSQL, JPA2, Hibernate, JBoss/Wildfly
Wireshark
JMS, JaxB
Web Services (Ex. REST, SOAP, etc.)
