MUST HAVE TOP SKILLS: Linux (RedHat Vs. 6) VMWare Scripting Key Responsibilities: Setup and maintain server hardware and operating system. Management and troubleshooting of VMware vSphere infrastructure Work with Development Engineering team to achieve project related goals Utilized asset management system to keep investors and system status up to date Evaluate and recommend new and emerging products and technologies Automate operations by writing scripts Infrastructure and process documentation Qualifications: Associate degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in the Linux system administration and VMware field. At least 5 years’ experience in System Administration of Linux servers (RedHat and CentOS). At least 2 years of experience in VMware vSphere and vCenter Administration and Deployment. Experience in troubleshooting server issues related to systems and applications such as Apache, DNS. Experience with system hardening and familiarity with iptables and selinux. Experience with data center servers including blade servers from HP and Dell. Experience with shared enterprise storage (NFS and SAN protocols, Netapp, EMC, etc).
