Position : PHP Developer Location : Washington,DC Duration : 6 month contract Rate:$50/Hr on C2C Primary Responsibilities: Analyze and design software systems to form a basis for the solution of information processing problems. Develop features across multiple subsystems within our applications, including collaboration in requirements definition, prototyping, design, coding, testing and deployment Develop software using Agile Development Methodology (SCRUM) Investigate, analyze and make recommendations to management regarding technology improvements, upgrades and modification Develop software solutions by conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; following the software development lifecycle. Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code. Resolve production issues Qualifications: 5+ years' experience building web-based software systems 3+ years of object-oriented PHP programming In depth knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Responsive design. 2+ years on an Agile team Familiar with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Zend II, Symfony. Proficiency in source code management practices, preferably Git. 4+ years' experience developing data-driven applications utilizing significant relational database engines as part of the overall application architecture Strong written and verbal communications skills. Proficiency developing and troubleshooting complex software systems that run in mixed-environments including Linux, Unix and/or Windows.
