Job Title : Project Manager Location : Washington, DC Duration : 6+ Months Job Skills: The Information Technology team is searching for a Project Manager consultant for an assignment until the end of the year to implement a specific technology capability within AIR. Document requirements, and develop budgets, and schedules for projects. Manage client and stakeholder expectations via status reports, meetings, and formal and ad hoc communications Ensure project is completed on time, within budget, and to defined project quality standards. Manage multiple vendors, external contractors and/or consultants and their deliverables Qualifications Master’s Degree in MIS, Business Management or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of project management experience or a Bachelor's Degree in the above fields and a minimum of 7 years of project management experience. Experience with Amazon Web Services, FISMA authority to operation processes, Secure data handling and IT Infrastructure (cyber security, networking, virtualization, Citrix XenDesktop) preferred Project management certification (Agile, PMP, CAPM) preferred but not required. Strong organizational and communication skills Strong Leadership skills with the ability to influence people not directly managing, ability to delegate Highly motivated, works independently and with geographically diverse teams.
