*Immediate Need Project Manager in NC!* Position :Project Manager Location :Charlotte, NC Duration :12+ Months contract *Need GC or USC!* Job Description: Experience with one or both involving Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) technology deployments or infrastructure expansion and refresh. Skills Required: Proven capabilities across all phases of project management. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Experience starting up new projects as well as taking over established projects and working them to conclusion. • Advanced experience with standard PC tools – MS Project, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Preferred skills: Experience with the management of deployments of large scale telephony implementations. • The ideal candidate should have experience with SharePoint Administration, data analysis, and other project reporting tools. Overall Responsibilities: • Monitoring and controlling project execution during the project lifecycle. • Regular reporting on project status. • Development and maintenance of project schedule(s). • Gathering and compiling budget/actual cost information from the business area. • Thought leadership for direction setting, asking clarifying questions, identifying appropriate issues and risks, and developing effective mitigation strategies. • Schedule, organize, attend and document project meetings with appropriate members of the project team. Ensure that agendas and meeting minutes are produced circulated and action items are recorded tracked and acted upon in a timely manner. • Document, manage and mitigate risks. Document and manage issues to resolution. Escalate as required for project success. Document project changes and manage project change control process. • Ensure that all project-related reports and artifacts are produced in a timely fashion, kept up to date and made accessible to the project team, as appropriate.
