Position :Senior Sharepoint Administrator Location :Columbia, SC Duration :12+ Months contract Job Description: Ongoing project to enable dss to better secure, manage, implement, and maintain the sharepoint server environment. This position will impact the agency’s ability to meet federal guidelines and program initiatives. DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: Mentor it staff in sharepoint techniques Provide user training as needed Manage backup and recovery operations Assist with support and maintenance Create knowledge management strategies Design, develop and support sharepoint solutions and advanced workflows Produce and maintain documentation for supported systems including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and detailed design documents Actively analyze and verify complex technical components of the sharepoint architecture SKILLS Candidate must be able to communicate clearly with the development team, project staff, and the user community.
