A brief introduction of the job and other details. *********************************************************************** REQUIREMENT: Solutions Architect WORK LOCATION: NYC,NY =================================================================================================== We have an excellent opportunity with our client for the role of Solutions Architect Duration: 12 *Months* (35 hours per week) Location *: New York City, NY Projected start date* is March 28, 2016 Experience 10 -12 years *Job Description :- * Government Client has a contract assignment for Solutions Architect in New York, NY. * Scope of services:* • Leads in the planning, design and development of the core technology and architecture of large-scale distributed systems, midrange to client server and n-tier applications and solutions. • Well versed in UML, design patterns and solutions across multiple platforms and frameworks. • Well versed in components and service designing. • Assists in the design and development of the database architecture including information and relational data structures, data marts, data dictionaries and logical and physical data models. • Well versed in data migration strategies using Middleware, ETL strategies as required. • Assist to develop strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, integration and implementation enterprise databases. • Assist in migration and integration of data and processes from legacy systems to new applications and new technologies inclusive of cloud based and big data solutions. • Assists in the development of information systems blueprints, design patterns, templates for best-in-class software development and to ensure high levels of software re-use and the migration towards service-oriented architecture (SOA). • Develop processes and procedures that allow the agency to fully exploit its data assets. • Documents and communicates the architecture to all levels of the organization, including data architects, application developers and management. *MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:* Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered. • Eight or more years of prior experience demonstrating the following knowledge and skills: • Experience in data modeling and database development. • Experience in SOA architecture and middleware preferably using IBM MQ. • Experience with the Microsoft Visual Studio .NET integrated development environment, including development, debugging and deployment. • Experience in Java development using struts, ejb • Expertise with traditional HTML editors, such as those found in Visual Studio as well as experience with other GUI-related development tools. • Experience with XML and related technologies and standards, such as the development of schema definitions (XSD), XML parsing and the development of XSLT. • Experience with the use, design and implementation of SOAP XML constructs as required for exchanging structured and typed information between peers in a decentralized, distributed environment. • Experience in the design, development, deployment and maintenance of web services using Microsoft .NET Visual Basic language constructs. • Experience in the development and deployment of web applications using traditional web languages, such as Style Sheets, HTML, DHTML and XML. • Experience with code control/version management software, such as SourceSafe, PVCS or a generic CVS. *DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:* • Cloud development skills like dynamics, salesforce. • Big data and Hadoop skills • ETL skills on products like Informatica, SSIS. -- Thanks, Harry Swift Solutions Inc 714.684.8282 (Desk) 732.326.1004 (Fax) ha...@swiftsol.com (Email) www.swiftsol.com (Website) Certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
