*Job Title: Automation Developer/SDET*

*Work Location: San Francisco, CA *

*Duration: 6 Months*



*No OPT's, Need H1B Copy and Photo ID Mandatory*

*Max Rate: 54/hr on C2C*



*Job Description:*

Opening for a Senior test automation developer, SDET or DevTester. A
successful candidate will have a background in development with a bent
towards test automation or be a full developer / tester. Successful
candidate could also be a tester turned developer. Either way the candidate
should have a successful track record of delivering automated testing for
agile and devops delivery squads.



*Responsibilities:*

• Be a dev/tester on an agile scrum squad developing RESTful APIs

• Develop automated acceptance and unit test for the agile team

• Teach test automation skills to fellow agile team members that may be
more traditional dev oriented

• Leverage Cucumber to translate Gherkin BDD scripts into automated testing

• Work with Jenkins and CI tools to automate dev, build, deployment and
testing

• Follow scrum, BDD, TDD, and CI principles



*Must have Technical Requirements / Qualifications:*

• 3+ years of doing test automation

• 5+ years of software development experience

• 3+ years as a developer or dev/tester

• Experience with Ruby (RSpec) or Java automated testing

• Experience with xUnit, Jenkins, cucumber, test automation & reporting
tools

• Experience developing in/with agile & CI tools: Jira, Confluence,
StashBitbucket, Git, Jenkins, Artifactory…etc

• Desire to learn new tools, skills & technology

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Great consulting presence & conform in front of clients. Needs to come
off as an “expert”

• “A” player this is a fast moving high profile role.



*Desirable Skills:*

• Cloud experience

• Infrastructure automation experience

• Hashicorp tool experience: Vagrant, Terraform, Packer…etc
