Hi, *We need a Senior Delphi Developer.* Title: *Delphi Developer* Location: *Austin, TX* Duration: *6 Months with extensions* *JOB DESCRIPTION*** A Software Engineer develops and maintains software products to satisfy business requirements. Great communication, organization, analytical skills, and teamwork are required to succeed in this role. This position reports to a Development Supervisor. *RESPONSIBILITIES* * * Develops code to meet business requirements. Works with mentors/team leads/ etc. to fully understand the features that are unclear in the specifications. Provides accurate levels of effort (LOE) to team supervisor and project managers and able to communicate when the level of effort has changed. Analyzes defects discovered by Quality Assurance or escalated by the business and provides meaningful solutions in a timely manner. Resolves defects in the software and/or database. Documents and reports in detail the impact analysis of code changes—used by QA to provide good coverage of product. Reviewing impact analysis documentation of other Software Engineers. Documents system level designs. Understands thoroughly the applications and areas of the software for which they are responsible. Mentors other Software Engineers. Work effectively as a team player to accomplish company goals. Capable of working autonomously to accomplish company goals. Capable of creating plans to accomplish company goals. Capable of leading a team to accomplish company goals. Creativity and latitude are expected. Follows all departmental and company policies. *REQUIREMENTS* * Requires a bachelor’s degree in CS or MIS or equivalent in experience.* *Must have 2+ years developing Windows applications and services using Delphi.* *Working knowledge of Delphi 5* *Working Knowledge of MS SQL Server (Query Analyzer, Profiler, Traces)* *Proficient in SQL and can demonstrate a working knowledge of commonly used relational data models* *(link tables, master-detail relationships, etc.)* *Extensive Knowledge of Delphi classes/functions and VCL library.* *Familiarity with Delphi component architecture.* *Extensive knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Programming.* *Expertise in using debugging tools to analyze software defects and impacts of changes.* *Familiarity with version control systems.* *Possess clear understanding of SDLC and other industry standard development practices.* *Three or more years in developing enterprise software.* *Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* *Outstanding analytical and troubleshooting skills.* *Bonus* Having knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures in the *medical industry is a plus.* Familiarity *with .Net Framework* *C# ASP.Net/Windows/WPF/XAML/WCF* *Ajax/JavaScript* Familiarity with Subversion (*Version Control System*) *Knowledge of network administration and domains* *Citrix/Terminal Services* *If you are comfortable with the above requirement please send me matching resumes to **na...@ajaxinfotech.com* na...@ajaxinfotech.com* along with the below details. * * * 1.
