Job Title : Java Developer w/ Eclipse & SQL
Location : Austin, Texas
Duration : 2-3 months contract

Duties could include, but are not limited to the following:
The analysis, decision-making, and documentation activities shall be
developed with assistance and input from key DARS management and technical
and other parties deemed appropriate by DARS IR.
Develop Web based Java applications.
Work with the DARS IR Application Development & Support Team to develop and
maintain software applications. These applications shall adhere to DARS IR
standards utilizing the DARS standardized architecture.
Optimizing processes that utilize HBM files and/or native SQL for large
scale data retrieval and insert/update transactions.
Other duties as assigned.
WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Years Skills/Experience
5 Experience developing and maintaining Web based Java
applications using Eclipse
5 Experience in creating and maintaining complex SQL.
Experience writing queries involving Group By, Having Clauses.
4 Experience optimizing complex SQL. Experience in
improving execution and performance of complex application based SQL.
4 A very clear understanding of Object Oriented
programming including Polymorphism, Inheritance, Interfaces etc.
4 A strong understanding of Java Data structures and a
basic understanding of how these data structure perform during run time
4 A very clear understanding of Threads and concurrent
programming
4 Experience in designing application, including
defining Object model, Business Interfaces, Object Database Interaction.
4 Experience with a complete life cycle development,
including migration issues, of an Enterprise Java application.
2 Experience using Hibernate
Strong Experience with problem solving and troubleshooting
Strong Verbal and written communication skills
Preferences:
Years Skills/Experience
4 Knowledge of Spring
Understanding of nested queries
Experience with Eclipse
