Position: *Linux/Windows System Administration * Length: 11 Months contract Location: Atlanta, GA *Responsibilities* Run and operate hosted microsites (monitor, upgrade, setup new environments, maintain users, perform configuration changes in environments, work with Business team to perform periodic cleanups of old content from these environments, propose access control to environments, etc). Assist with Automation of Front End deployments. Work closely with Front End team to understand present processes and propose better processes for publishing content. Work on transition of microsites/content from one hosting environment to another (move to external grid). Work closely with the IT Web Operations team to run, operate and monitor these environments based on client processes/policies. *Required Skills and Experience* Knowledgeable UNIX/Linux and Windows Administration Must have more experience with Linux *Preferred Skills:* Ability to interact with hosting companies/vendors (Rackspace/Akamai), to fully understand Client’s environments hosted externally. Experience with Rackspace / Akamai environments; how they are used to support Client’s website. i.e. (Rackspace LAMP environments, Rackspace .NET environments, Rackspace clouds, Akamai Netstorage, etc).
