*Overview of the RoleAssist in defining and implementing LIMS requirements following the Software Development Life Cycle process Assist in defining lab instrument interfaces and definitions Assist with training lab users Make recommendations as to ways to improve the LIMS and Lab processes * *Role RequirementsInteract with Lab users to define and implement LIMS requirements such as, but not limited to, new tests, panels, calculations, reflexes and workflow. Develop troubleshooting skills in order to support lab users on all aspects of the LIMS Assist in the documentation and testing of all LIMS changes as per current Software Development Life Cycle policies as appropriate. Participate in testing and validating LIMS changes where appropriate. Help provide basic training and documentation to lab users Assist with lab instrument interfaces and definitions. Perform additional responsibilities as requested by Management. 2 years as a Medical technologist, Biomedical Scientist or Equivalent Knowledge of Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Visio.
