Looking for a local to Buffalo Grove *Business Analyst* for a long term
contract.  Must have client interfacing experience and SQL Queries
experience.



*Location: Buffalo Grove, NY*

*Duration: 6-9 month contract*

*Responsibilities*

· Use diverse professional experience and broad knowledge of both
business and technology to analyze, manage and monitor integrated solutions
and manufacturing optimization, to resolve complex technical or business
issues, and to communicate across departments/teams to ensure project(s)
timelines and deliverables are met.  Actively participate and interact with
all Primary Project Team contacts to understand business needs, identify
the best manufacturing solution, and communicate the processes to meet the
needs.



· *Must possess the ability to understand client supplied databases
with table associations and required fields.*



· *Must possess the ability to run fundamental SQL queries and
reports to validate and assess client supplied data.*



· Ability to understand and apply financial regulatory changes and
who they impact your client’s business needs.



· Actively interact with customers to define and capture business
requirements and required reporting/validations and consistent
documentation methodologies.  Support standardization process methodology
to reduce cost, improve productivity, improve quality, predictability and
timeliness, reduce risk, improve cross-group coordination, improve skills
and improve customer and associate satisfaction.



· Establish and maintain clear scope boundaries for your
responsible projects. Develop clear and concise functional requirements for
the technical developers that are free from ambiguity to minimize re-work
and errors. Recognize the business’s needs and the implications of change.
May formulate alternative solutions to satisfy business requirements.



· Participate in quality management reviews as outlined in the
project work plan, and in reviews of the designs, prototypes and other
project work products to ensure they fulfill the requirements.



· Follow standardized Project Management methodologies to
facilitate project cyclical activity as required.



· Lead and/or participate in project team implementations, provide
subject expertise, and effectively coordinate/communicate all aspects of
the project plan and action items to meet and exceed client expectations.



· Continue to build on technical and business knowledge to better
understand the link between business and technology. Analyze methodologies
for process improvements, better utilization of resources, product
enhancements, improved communications and faster issue resolution.



· *3-5 years MS SQL data management, querying and reporting
required.*



· *3-5 years of client or account management required*



· Must have the ability to solve complex problems by analyzing
variables and applying appropriate solutions learned through experience and
proficiency in understanding the job.



· Must be able to recognize anomalies and critical situations and
respond appropriately. Must be able to communicate and interact with a
variety of internal/external customers and/or co-workers at level of detail
required to resolve issues of moderate complexity.



· Able to work in a fast paced, ever changing regulatory
environment with demonstrated accuracy and dependability is required.



· Must be able to learn specialized software to complete work
assignments and demonstrate continued expertise in the primary tools or
applications used in completing daily work assignments.



· Requires excellent communication skills with ability to state
messages in a clear manner by using language that is easy for others to
understand.

and situations to clearly articulate business needs to both internal and

The role is to manage the various internal and client-specific projects
that require IT resources. Projects include delivery of IT solution and
client orders. This position requires complete knowledge of all programming
requirements, deliverables and commitments as well as leading our IT
resources in communications to and from our client. Must maintain support
and enforcement of the necessary policies and procedures throughout the
software development lifecycle. Also interface with production staff in
