*Job Title: QA Analyst (Media streaming testing)* *Location: Glendale, CA* *Type of hire: 6-18+ months Contract * *Interview Mode: Telephonic and Skype/F2F* *OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:* · Plan and execute tests on media services · Maintain detailed documentation on test plans, test procedures and test results · Analyze the test results and write up summary reports · Manage test accounts with the different services including billing and accounting · Maintain the different services and devices in a demo/test ready state *SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:* · Create and maintain a test plan for periodic tests on media services (e.g. streaming services, Cable/MVPD etc.) · Sign-up/maintain test accounts for services/test tools and manage billing/accounting. · Execute tests, perform basic analysis & analytics reporting · Monitor market landscape for new test tools and maintain a top 10 list of tools · Coordinate with Systems Engineer in troubleshooting technical issues as may arise during testing · Maintain media service installations in the lab in a test/demo ready state (devices and logins) *EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:* · 5-7 years’ experience as a QA tester/analyst with relevant IT and internet technology experience · Experience testing streaming services and cable/satellite/MVPD services · Experience testing on multiple devices (STB, gaming consoles, AppleTV, Roku, PC/Mac, iPhone/iPad/Android mobile devices etc.) · Good understanding of video distribution systems (OTT, Cable, Satellite, IPTV, etc.) · Understanding of Media Streaming Formats/Protocols (HLS, Smooth Streaming, MP4 etc.) · Ability to write scripts in at least one language (Ruby, Bash, Python, Applescript, etc.) · Proficient with installing, configuring test software, basic administration on Mac OSX, Windows and Linux based operating systems · Familiar with VPN software, HTTP traffic analysis tools (charles, wireshark etc.) *REQUIRED SKILLS:* · Basic knowledge of networking · Ability to work independently and pay attention to detail · Ability to effectively and clearly communicate test and analysis results · Good interpersonal and communication skills · Pro-active and possess a hands-on, collaborative working style *EDUCATION:* · Bachelor in Engineering or technical degree required *Regards,* *Ali* *a...@tresourceinc.com <a...@tresourceinc.com>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
