This includes troubleshooting for all components within this solution. The Department maintains a critical test environment that mirrors the production environment so both environments must be managed with version control. • Assist agency in the daily maintenance of video/audio, voice and data network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, and VoIP. • Demonstrate expert level knowledge of network topologies and conditions; ensure changes to network topologies are made with minimal down-time. • Manage video/audio, data/voice networking relationships and work with vendors to escalate issues when appropriate. • Review network utilization statistics to verify that circuits are properly sized; take proactive approaches in provisioning bandwidth to meet needs or determine more analysis is required to determine types of bandwidth usage • Be a customer technical liaison for technical support and development teams. • Provide technical guidance and support to other Engineers as needed. • Provides peer reviews of implementations, configurations, and documentation for team members • Assists and mentors other team members with deployment or best practices. *Required Experience:* • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Cisco Unified Communications or LAN/WAN network administration and engineering is required; 4-year degree is a plus. • At least 5 years of experience with Cisco Unified Communications is highly desired. • Must have expert-level hands-on operation of networking equipment, management tools and network analyzers. • Must have “hands-on” technical expertise with the following products: Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco Unified Contact Center Express, Cisco Emergency Responder, Cisco Telepresence MCU 5300, Video Communications Server Control / Expressway, Telepresence Management Suite, and various IP collaboration endpoints for voice and video. • Must have expert level experience with dual attached HSRP high availability CUBE (Cisco Unified Border Element) SIP high capacity gateways with interoperability between Cisco gateways and Genesys IVR. • Must have experience with Genesys / Cisco CUCM JTAPI integration and complex call routing / recording configurations. • Excellent communication and documentation skills. *Preferred* • Although the role is for Senior Collaboration Engineer, a strong background in Cisco Route/Switch/Wireless is a definite plus. • Must ---Cisco Certifications: CCNP-Voice, CCNP-Collaboration is strongly preferred (CCIE-Voice or CCIE-Collaboration highly desired.)
