*Summary:*

The Middleware Engineer- OHS Admin needs to Support enterprise environment
for high-TPS, high-criticality applications and works closely with client
and technical management, and with related support groups to design and
implement Oracle HTTP Server in support of complex business application
development requirements and processes. The Middleware Engineer –OHS Admin
is responsible for but not limited to:



• Setup, build and automate OHS (Oracle HTTP Server) environments.

• Performs troubleshooting and Proactive monitoring.

• Responsible for Planning, building and supporting the environment.

• Manage and support the Production environment.

• Good experience with Patches, Upgrades and maintaining the active/active
environments.

• Good Knowledge on SSL configurations and implementation.

• Good Work experience with Apache and Weblogic.

• Experience working with Relational Databases like Oracle, SQL Server, and
Teradata

• Understanding of programming languages like Java, .Net, J2EE etc.

• 24 x 7 operational support which includes pager rotation



*Required Qualifications*

• Experience in Installation, Configuration and Administration of Web
Servers, Oracle HTTP Server, and Apache.

• Good experience in Installation, Configuration and Administration of
Weblogic.

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience working with Web/App Servers
Administration, Installation, Configuration and Monitoring.

• Strong knowledge UNIX scripting, Perl Scripting and automation.

• Experience configuration and Performance tuning and throttling.

• Experience in configuration of Plug-in for various application servers
like Weblogic etc.

• Experience in Investigating and resolving performance issues.

• Experience with configuring SSL and SSO.

• Experience with Siteminder configuration.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to
communicate information in a timely and accurate manner.

    Preferred Qualifications

• 5- 10 years of overall technical experience in development or
Administration (both preferred).

• Excellent Windows & UNIX Skills in managing processes and troubleshoot
problems.

• Good understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Experience working with Relational Databases like SQL Server, Oracle.

• Needs to be able to work independently with various application teams
with build activities.

• Effective communication with the IS Application teams is critical to
achieving success with this position
