*Kindly Reply on: lisa.d...@itbtalent.com <lisa.d...@itbtalent.com> * Location: Columbus, OH Duration: 6-12 Months CTH - EAD, GC or USC Position Title: Oracle Fusion Middleware Administrator Required Skills: 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator 3+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware 3+ years of experience in a Linux environment Experience with Oracle VMware instances Familiarity with Redhat Must have experience patching, installing, configuring and upgrading Oracle Fusion Experience with Shell scripting Experience with LDAP enterprise directories Experience troubleshooting and identifying issues Experience monitoring server environment Familiarity with firewalls and backups Experience creating and updating technical documentation Must be open minded and have the ability to adapt to new situations Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Desired Skills: Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager –OEM Familiarity with Oracle WebLogic Familiarity with Java development A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or similar field of study Description from Client: Oracle Fusion Middleware Administrator Responsibilities: ·Create and run Oracle VMware instances for the purpose of building a redundant, stable application hosting architecture. ·Install, upgrade, and patch Oracle Fusion Middleware software. ·Monitor and evaluate efficiency of system usage and make recommendations to management to improve performance. ·Troubleshooting and root cause analysis. ·Prepare, update and maintain technical documentation. ·Preventative and proactive system monitoring. Must Haves: ·3 - 5 years of System Administration knowledge Redhat/Oracle Linux; certifications preferred ·Installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of Oracle Fusion Middleware software in a Linux environment. ·Experience with multi-tiered application environments. ·Experience with LDAP-based enterprise directories. ·Ability to demonstrate track record of maintaining server integrity and uptime. ·Experience writing shell scripts to automate tasks. ·Proven experience troubleshooting issues that occur with the applications running on Linux servers. Nice to have: ·Experience using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) to manage an application hosting environment. ·Web Application development. ·Java application development.
