IT Systems Analyst 9+ months Contract SANTA ANA, CA *Must be EAD, GC, TN-Visa or Citizen* Primary Duties: - Lead requirements gathering, service-oriented modeling, analysis and design activities - Evaluate business requirements and prepare detailed functional and technical specifications - Communicate design to all stakeholders and varying levels of the organization - Serve as the liaison between business and systems analysts, developers and project management groups - Present and evaluate design solutions objectively and facilitate conflict resolution - Define, use and communicate design patterns and best practices in service oriented analysis, design and development - Collaborate with quality assurance team to ensure testing efforts align with system deliveries and business processes - Develop strategies to improve service development life cycle and governance processes - Develop detailed source-to-target data mapping and data transformation rules - Develop and use enterprise service and data models - Evaluates business requirements and prepares detailed specifications that follow project guidelines required to develop written programs - Formulates, defines and documents the functional system specifications - Devises or modifies procedures that solve complex business problems with due consideration for hardware/software capacity and limitations, operating times and the desired results - Analyzes and revises existing functional documentation - Generates innovative ideas to resolve problems - Responsible for meeting or exceeding all defined target goals and milestone dates for the project in order to ensure its overall success - Assists in training junior level personnel in technical complexities of assigned work - Reviews the work of others. - Develops innovative approaches. - Serves as a leader/ mentor. Nice tools to have would be database query tool such as Toad and SQL Server. Other than that Microsoft office package is fine but not preferred.
