Role Description
•Consults with executive-level stakeholders to define business need or
problem; conducts research, performs studies and surveys to obtain data;
and analyzes problems to advise on or recommend solutions, utilizing
knowledge of theory, principles, or technology of specific discipline or
field of specialization.
•Requires knowledge in computer programming and other related technical
fields as well as extensive experience in a particular business or industry
subject matter.
•Conducts study or survey on need or problem to obtain data required for
solution.
•Analyzes data to determine solution, such as installation of alternate
methods and procedures, changes in processing methods and practices,
modification of machines or equipment, or redesign of products or services.
•Advises client or department heads on alternate methods of solving need or
problem, or recommends specific solution.
•Requires experience providing consulting services to governmental
entities.
Bachelor degree or higher in the area of Information Technology and/or
Information security /information assurance Highly desired
Possess the following certifications: CISSP, CEH Highly desired 8 Years
Information technology experience Required 8 Years
Information security experience :assessments,ethical hacking, penetration
testing, risk assessmentsRequired 5Years
Experience with commercial and open source tools used to conduct testing
Required 5Years
Experience with providing verificaiton for systems and infrastructure
security Required 5Years
Experience with security audits, risk management, business continuity and
disaster recovery Required 5 Years
Experience with auditing logs for inconsistencies Required 3 Years
Experience verifying that security safeguards have been implemented
correctly Required 3 Years
Experience Security testing and evaluation (ST E) to determinie if
technical safeguards are functioning as prescribed Required 3 Years
