Also please send me a copy of your resume in word format. *Title:Senior Hyperion/Database Administrator * *Location: Mason, OH* *Duration: 12+ Months* *SUMMARY:* Hyperion Infrastructure Administrator who will provide support and maintenance for the infrastructure and application administration, installation, configuration and maintenance of Hyperion Products in Exalytics Platform. These include Hyperion Planning, Essbase, Interactive Reporting, Financial Reporting, DRM, HSF, FRS, Smart view. Administrator will also document systems including flow charts, and other related diagrams based on user or system design specifications. Administrator will also responsible for migrating the objects following SDLC QA process. *REQUIREMENTS* (required education, experience, knowledge, skills abilities): Ø Hyperion patching and upgrade including: System level OS patches Patches for third-party products (J2EE servers, PDF Print software, Microsoft Office, etc.) Patches to the product suite which may include full product reinstallations Ø Hyperion application security configuration including management of users/groups within Shared Services and their proper role assignment Ø Performance tuning of the system and application processes Ø Applications migration and code base-lining Ø Scheduled maintenance Monitor system performance with ‘Performance Monitor’ or some similar tool Ø Monitor Hyperion System Logs for errors and outage conditions Ø Manage Hyperion Services for uptime Ø Manage complete system backups including the necessary MAXL scripting for Essbase backups (archive mode, etc.) Ø Manage or assist with management of all system RDBMS backups Ø Troubleshoot issues with both client and server systems Ø Smart View Client connections, FR Studio connections, HFM Client support Ø Essbase cube stop/start, HFM application start/stop, JVM monitoring and troubleshooting, IIS/Apache/OHS support and maintenance Ø Migration of objects between environments (Dev, Test, Production) using LCM Ø Manage the technical documentation of all fixes, versioning, and issues for the suite Ø Manage all technical tickets both with the internal ticketing system, and externally to Oracle or other vendors Ø Understand changes in application base/scope to ensure the architecture does not need to grow Ø Monitor all system usage metrics so that additional hardware is expanded in advance of need: RAM, Disk, Processor, etc. Ø Technical infrastructure expertise to provide implementation, support and maintenance for HFM, FDQM, DRM, Hyperion Financial Reporting, Planning and Essbase. Ø Work interdependently with technical infrastructure teams, application teams, and business units to ensure service delivery is meeting business objectives. Ø Experience preferably with Exalytics Platform Ø Motivated, self-directed individual that works well with minimal supervision. Ø Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ø Demonstrate an ability to work effectively under pressure in critical situations. Ø Be well organized, possessing excellent documentation skills. Ø Be persuasive and influential to create acceptable agreements or solutions. Ø Practical and creative problem solving skills that follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
