Performing analysis, design, programming, and implementation of systems and
procedures to solve complex business problems

Working closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to
understand business requirements

Ensuring solutions are aligned with business and IT strategies and comply
with the organization's standards

Developing design and functional specifications and making recommendations
toward the development and enhancement of code

Devising new sources of data and developing new approaches and techniques

Be able to accurately estimate completion dates of feature requests.

Consistently meet those estimates.

Ability to move between priorities in a fast paced environment and deliver
results.



Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent
combination of education and experience

8 years of technical experience with web development, systems analysis,
design, and/or programming

5+ years of web development with Java, Spring, Hibernate technologies

3+ years of experience with Single Page App technology (e.g. Angular, Ember)

5+ years of RDBMS design and development experience

Strong understanding of MVC, REST

   - BS degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
   - 5+ years of Object Oriented Software Engineering (Design patterns, UML)
   experience with Java/J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere,
   JMS)
   - Experience designing and building highly concurrent, high throughput
   web services; XML/XSL/XSLT/XSD, JAXDB, SOAP, WSDL, AXIS2, HTTP, REST, APIs
   - 2+ yrs of experience implementing large-scale, distributed software
   applications; supply chain management, CRM, Content Management and/or B2B
   applications
   - Demonstrated ability to translate customers' needs into application

   - Experience with Unix scripting languages (Shell, Bash, Perl, Python)
   - Experience developing code within continuous integration environments,
   utilization of change control tools (Subversion, CVS, Maven, Hudson),
   development and utilization of Unit test tools and frameworks (Cactus, FIT,
   JUnit, Mock Objects)



*Ideal Qualifications:*

·  MS Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent

·  Implementation experience with Comergent, Sterling C3 (Selling,
Fulfillment) or Yantra

·  Experience in Web UI programming; HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, Flash,
Flex, etc.

·  Industry experience in high-tech manufacturing, telecommunications,
or bio-tech
