Our client desires to hire this candidate on a Contract basis for 10 months with the option to extend *Responsibilities include:* Implements Network hardware and software while adhering to defined standards, policies and procedures. Continually acts to improve enterprise Networking systems reliability by providing ongoing preventive maintenance, testing, tuning and troubleshooting. Handles Network systems changes, additions, short and long-term needs, and individual special requests while following Change Management policies and standards. Manages medium scale projects from conception to completion including project timelines, internal/external resources and budget. – Works with external vendors to provide preliminary vendor management needs. This includes providing basic information to vendors and presenting preliminary contract numbers to leadership. Evaluates and recommends Network hardware and software as well as service providers. - Responsible for troubleshooting Network infrastructure including hardware & software related issues. Continually works to improve enterprise security solutions. This entails working with internal customers, vendors, and internal support personnel to achieve 99% infrastructure uptime on all critical network equipment within the enterprise environment, Develops backup procedures and methods to ensure maximum Network systems reliability, restorability and disaster recovery. Develops and maintains detailed Network infrastructure documentation and diagrams. - Continually works to improve knowledge of Enterprise’ s corporate goals, strategies, business plans and objectives.
