*JOB TITLE:* * BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE DEVELOPER LOCATION: NYC DURATION: 6+ MONTHS* *Primary Skills:* *Must have 5-8 years of experience with Data Modeling with a particular focus on data mart design. Must have experience implementing Business Intelligence platforms. Skills with SSRS, SSIS and Tableau a* Software Developer will be responsible for creating solutions to support business intelligence tools, data marts, and reporting systems *b. RESPONSIBILITIES *Design, develop, and support tools to support the investment management process Develop database procedures, transformations, integrations, and queries to access and transform data Use ETL and SQL technologies to prepare data for business intelligence applications and reporting tools (Tableau, SSRS) Create data models to support applications and reporting Think strategically and consider best practices when developing to ensure maximum reusability, supportability, and performance. Define test conditions and develop accurate and complete test plans Debug and troubleshoot issues and implement fixes Develop documentation, reference materials, work flows and training materials c. REQUIRED SKILLS 7+ years of software developing using Oracle and/or Microsoft technologies Bachelor Degree preferably in Computer Science or IT related field Strong database development skills required Oracle PL/SQL recommended Strong experience Data Modeling with a focus on Data Mart design required Experience implementing Business Intelligence platforms, such as MS Power Pivot, Tableau, etc., is preferred Experience with the Microsoft development platform (SSRS, C#, SSIS) preferred Knowledge of Equity & Fixed Income business preferred Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to work independently in a rapidly changing environment Strong analytical skills, ability to translate business requirements into software Solid verbal and written communication. Able to communicate effectively and confidently with users, team members, and management d.
