Be able to identify monitoring gaps. · Ensure proper escalation and notification for each project. · Troubleshoot and resolve Client Engagement Support issues. · Ability to create and document processes ranging from sever creation to proper response to alerts. · Handle day to day support activities that pop up and must be comfortable in working on production support incidents on a live call with several other support teams, making recommendations, escalating when necessary. · Create/manage existing shell scripting in the application. · Build/Administer/Manage/Configure applications in linux environment using tools like puppet/fabric/chef *Qualifications:* · 9+ years of prior work experience in IT, including recent 3+ years of work experience with CentOS/RHEL in an enterprise (100+ server) environment. · Extensive experience in installing, configuring, administering, tuning, and troubleshooting complex Linux based application and middleware installations · Must be good in script (Puppet/Magento/Shell etc) · Extensive 24/7 Level 2 Support Experience in troubleshooting Production environments · Ability to respond to critical issues, manage critical trouble tickets and drive towards permanent resolutions. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. · Experience with automation tools (Puppet, Chef, fabric) *Plus:* · Experience in migrating applications from development/test environments to production including customization. · Active participation in infrastructure architecture, such as hardware sizing, effort estimation and security. · Experience with complex Linux/Windows based environments.
