*Job Description: *
8+ years’ experience in database engineering with expertise in Oracle
• Minimum 8 years in information technology and/or in a data
warehouse environment
• Experience with ETL (Extract Transform Load) and Data Warehousing
systems
• Experience with Oracle Databases
• Strong Database engineering skills
• Expert knowledge of PL/ SQL including tuning, triggers, and
stored procedures
• Experience with Unix/Linux Shell scripts
• Experience with Informatica
• Knowledge of Change data capture and real-time
replication/real-time ETL (DataGuard, GoldenGate, Oracle Data Integrator
(ODI))
• Experience working with IDEs like TOAD, SQL Navigator, PL-SQL
Developer, and JDeveloper
• Knowledge of Web Services for data exchange (SOAP, XML)
• RAC, oracle standby, partitioning experience
• Familiarity with Telecommunications Data Warehouse Model and ETL
design & best practices
• Ability to interpret and write technical publications/diagrams,
and project specifications
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Good organizational and follow-up skills and the ability to meet
time sensitive
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Interpersonal skills necessary to manage business and technical
relationships with internal and external clients
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and
documentation pertaining to the operations of computer and software
applications and equipment.
