They are looking for a blend of strong clinical and patient care workflow knowledge mixed with solid core manual testing skills. The roles are focused on planning and execution of full regression testing on the UI/front end of applications that handle patient care orders (i.e. prescriptions, tests and assessments), patient record across multiple sites (EMR) and Clinical Data Repositories. The QA team currently resides in Wakefield, MA, Barcelona, Spain and Chicago, IL. There is a gap in talent in Wakefield around the clinical specific skill set in QA. The hiring manage is looking for SQA to provide skilled resources to fill this gap. Critical Success Factors:· Strong understanding of clinical patient care systems either from the QA/testing perspective or as an actual user as a clinician, nurse or doctor. · Strong understanding of systems like EMR, Clinical Data Repositories and Orders Outbound (prescriptions, tests and assessments). · Good knowledge of manual regression testing; understanding of what would be covered in a typical regression test suite. Differentiators:· Understanding of the interfaces and integration points of hospital software systems· Experience with VA (Veteran’s Administration) specific hospital systems · Experience with Microbiology software systems (typically contains lab culture data)Application/Systems:Client develops the systems for their customers to deploy directly and they have a hosted version on some of their systems. The software is used in hospitals to provide decision support around patient care. They also have back office systems that tie into the administrative side of the patient care.
