*Position: Database Analyst* *Location: Southlake, TX*
*Duration: Long term* JOB DESCRITIONS: Designs, implements and maintains highly complex databases with respect to JCL, access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation and statistical methods. Includes overall monitoring of standards and procedures and integration of systems through database design. May include maintenance of database dictionaries. Competent to work at the highest level of all phases of database management. Converts logical design into a physical database. May create schemas and sub schemas in consultation with application project teams necessary to implement database design. Develops transaction logging, back-up and security features. Analyzes and changes performance of database as necessary. Provide extensive technical support during the customization and conversion of multi-host customers by working closely with real-time operations and coverage to ensure successful implementation and resolution of any problems. Experience with Informix and noSQL systems preferred, but not required. Candidate will be required to provide design and operational support for MS SQL, Mysql, and Oracle. Familiarity with cloud concepts is also expected. EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, Master's degree preferred. EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3-5 years related experience. REQUIRED SKILLS: Experience with operating databases in an environment of cloud-based infrastructure.
