Please review the requirement and if you find it matching your profile then send me your updated resume ASAP/IMMEDIATE *Job Title: SQL DBA* *Location: Pittsburgh, PA* *Length: 6 Months * *Need Only GC OR CITIZEN* Responsibilities: • Transactional Database Design and Development • Write code for database design and development tasks according to coding standards. • Participate in the design process through all three architectural phases – Conceptual, Logical and Physical • Participate in software quality assurance activities, including code reviews, data validation and creation of data verification plans. • Collaborate with company DBA’s to identify sources of performance degradation • Develop appropriate corrective actions to resolve production data issues. • Create development estimates for assigned tasks. • Meet agreed upon development deadlines, or communicate in advance with team lead or manager if the deadline will be missed. • Work closely with senior team members to design ETL strategies for integrating data from multiple sources into data warehouses. • Work closely with senior team members to design and develop processes to convert relational data into a flat format which is appropriate for export and/or analysis. • Collaborate with Data Analysts to develop rules or functions that will be used to extract data from a data source. • Develop automation technologies to expedite the process of loading data into the end target (warehouses or marts).
