Role: Build and Release Engineer (.net) Duration:6 months Location:New York City, NY, *Job Description: * Responsibilities · Provide continuous support on builds and strive to make the build and releases as close to automatic and foolproof as possible · Troubleshooting and resolving complex software integration issues. · Monitor and administer the automated build and continuous integration process to ensure correct build execution and facilitate resolution of build failures · Develop and maintain documentation of the build/release process · Establish tools and processes to improve and automate workflow. · Investigate tools that might speed up the process or make process more efficient in build management Qualifications · Experience designing, building, and maintaining a production build and continuous integration system for a large software project, preferably a software project developed in .Net/C# · Knowledge Microsoft technologies (.Net/C#, Visual Studio, MSBuild, Solution and project file organization, cross-solution dependency management, NUnit) · Experience in branching, merging, and integration · Expertise with Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, SVN, Team City, Run Deck · Experience in Release Management · Ability to maintain automated builds, tests, and staging environments · Experience in maintaining and working with Windows environment · Experience coding/scripting in C#, Windows Bash, PowerShell · Experience in integrating software tools such as static analysis and code coverage into the build process.
