The Business Intelligence Consultant will participate in the design, development, and implementation of customer BI solutions utilizing 3rd party BI tools. The BI Consultant also works with clients to understand, analyze, and refine the application requirements and, where needed, provides guidance on selection of BI tools and methodologies. Once the design has been validated and endorsed by future users and IT, the BI Consultant will turn it into a working and optimized application. The BI consultant will unit test and deliver the application for an integration test. The BI Consultant demonstrates a high degree of BI tool expertise and development skills. The BI Consultant may be the Lead Consultant on a project; *Required skills:* Minimum 2-5 years of Microstrategy BI Experience, preferably with recent experience Have strong Data Visualization skills and must present examples of work performed in the past. *Specifically, looking for dashboard examples and other visualization examples that can be provided*. Have worked on BI projects using Microstrategy tools -- specifically Should have designed, created & maintained Web reports using Microstrategy Should have designed, created & maintained a series of Dashboards using Microstrategy v9.x Should have knowledge of report publishing. Should know how Microstrategy integrates with other enterprise solutions. Find creative and sophisticated solutions to problems while using MicroStrategy’s product suite through analytical talent and strong troubleshooting abilities. Understanding of core Business Intelligence (BI)/data warehousing technology: RDBMS such as SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 and Teradata, Web, Client/ Server, and OLAP. Ability to mentor and work alongside a Teradata resource(s).
