Dallas, TX (local candidates only) 3-6 month c2h 1st round phone screen, 2nd round face-to-face GC/EAD or US Cit only Client seeks Test Engineer for our preferred client in their Dallas, TX location. The qualified candidate will possess 4+ years of experience in three major areas, including: Automation Testing Experience, Web Testing Experience, and Testing Frameworks (e.g. NUnit, XUnit). *Description:* As a primary test automation resource, the Test Engineer will analyze, design, configure, code, test, debug, document and maintain automated testing utilities, programs, scripts, and frameworks. *Responsibilities for this Position Include:* *KEY DUTIES* - Works directly with the QA team to automate existing tests, point out testing gaps and manage the test automation tools. - Consults with development and other test designers on software and system design that facilitates test automation - Script and execute automated and semi-automated test cases, covering system test cases and specifications from QA and Development - Spot problem areas quickly and communicate with team leads and/or managers - Assists in the on-going evolution of software quality assurance best practices. - Identifies differences between established standards and user applications. Suggests modifications to conform to standards. - May conduct compatibility tests with vendor provided programs. - May evaluate proposed software or software enhancement for feasibility. - May gather and analyze data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. *QUALIFICATIONS* - High School diploma or equivalent required. - Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science or equivalent work experience strongly preferred.
