*Role - Business Systems Analyst* *Location - Boston, MA * *Duration - 6+months* *Interview: Phone Screen then face to face* *H1B ok* MUST HAVE: Asset Management/Investment Banking experience, SQL, Data Warehouse, Data Mart, Reporting System experience. Required Qualifications: • 10+ years of Demonstrated Business Systems Analyst experience in Asset Management/Investment Banking. • Intermediate SQL knowledge. • Track record in Data Warehouse, Data Mart, Reporting systems experience • BA and/or BS in Computer Science or related field. • Candidate must have detailed knowledge of the Asset Management business domain and should be able to define and explain the attributes of various terms, here is few examples • Security: Issue Type, Security Name, Coupon Rate, Bond Accrual Basis, Issue Date, Maturity Date, Issuer, Currency of Issue, Payment Frequency • Security Tax Lot: Number of Shares, Trade Date, Settlement Date, Actual Settlement Date, Book Value, Currency of Trade, Exchange Traded On • Security Position: Portfolio Identifier, Security Identifier, Current Market Value, Book Value • Account: Account Id, Account Alias Id, Account Long Name, Account Voting, Account Discretion, Tax Status, Start Date, Open/Closed Indication • Securities Transaction: Transaction Type, Transaction Id, Account Id, Portfolio Id, Quantity, Counterparty • Must understand relational database structure, Data warehouse – surrogate keys, natural keys, index, referential integrity, slowly changing dimensions, domain of values/look up tables. • Must understand simple user interface (UI) concerns –screen real estate, controls. Relationship of UI to supporting database and to publication layer. • Must be able to speak in business terms to business and technical terms to technologists. • Must be able to compose simple SQL statements and have experience in assessing data content. • This is a HEAVY DATA CONTENT role (Data Mapping, Data Analysis, define Data Quality rules, Balance and controls, Data Security, Reporting).
