*Peoplesoft HCM Technical Consultant *
*Location: Pittsburgh, PA*

*Duration: 6 Months*

 

This position is for a PeopleSoft HCM Technical consultant who will provide 
technical production support, development, technical enhancements, upgrades 
and maintenance

of PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 application

 

Skills Required:

* Technical Education -

o Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology

* Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a PeopleSoft Technical 
Developer role on several PeopleSoft implementation, upgrade, integration 
projects.

* Mandatory experience as a PeopleSoft Technical Developer with PeopleSoft 
HCM application version 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.53 and up. Should have worked 
on a full life cycle upgrade project from 9.x to 9.2.

* Previous exhaustive experience working as a technical developer with 
older versions of PeopleSoft HCM 8.0 to 9.0 and PeopleTools 8.45 and up

* Experience performing technical development in modules – Human Resources, 
North American Payroll, Ben Admin, Base Benefits, eBenefits, Position 
Management, ePerformance, Employee Self Service, Manager Self Service.

* Exhaustive development experience with PeopleCode, Application Designer, 
Application Engine, Component Interfaces, Workflows, PS query, Query 
Manager, Application Packages, etc.

* Exhaustive development experience with externals such as SQR and BI 
Publisher

* Exhaustive experience working with technical aspects of PeopleSoft 
security and troubleshooting security related access and row level security 
issues.

* Exhaustive experiences writing highly complex conversions, interfaces 
with 3rd party applications and reports.

* Exhaustive experience developing complex customizations within 
Application Designer and ability to create 100% custom pages, components, 
relevant new objects within PeopleSoft to fit custom client needs.

* Extreme high proficiency in troubleshooting technical application errors, 
analyzing root cause and resolving application issues in a very short 
duration.

* Experience working with Oracle databases, UNIX/LINUX and Windows platform

* Experience working with internal PeopleSoft scheduling and external 
scheduling tools.

* Strong SQL skills with ability to write efficient SQLs. Should possess 
excellent performance issue troubleshooting skills.

* Experience creating visio diagrams for process flow documentation.

* Excellent technical documentation, analytical and overall application 
troubleshooting skills expected while working with clients. Strong verbal 
and writing communication skills.

* Should be able to work on both production support handling day to day 
activities and break-fix ticket with SLAs as well as, when required, fast 
paced projects like upgrades and module implementations or integration 
projects.

* Ability to work in large teams and handle client questions
