The selected candidate will function as the Data Warehouse Programmer/Analyst and will be responsible for supporting the expansion and support of the Data Warehouse. Ideal candidate will possess 5 years + of experience Responsibilities: ·Designing star schemas over varied sources of data which meet the business imperatives. ·Analyzing disparate sources of data and implementing an ETL process. ·Design and develop an ETL process to incorporate source data into the Enterprise Data Warehouse. ·Participate in all required steps of the SDLC process, including but not limited to documentation, testing and implementation. ·Ensure code follows best practices and standards as laid out by the Data Warehouse and IT policies. ·Mentor team members on ETL best practices as well as star schema and data modeling design. Required Skills: ·MUST have recent Cognos experience. This is the client’s tool of choice. ·Proven experience managing/leveraging outsourced solutions/providers. ·Strong analytical and problem solving skills. ·Strong communication skills, and proven relationship development and management capabilities, strong team player, positive attitude.
