Total across the organization there are 12 people. For our hires we focus on strong technical leaders who understand that the task is as much about communication as it is about technology. We hire people who not only can 'make it work' but who also keep digging until they know why. They will take things apart and put them back together just to figure out how it's done. *Scope of position:* This position is intended to (for now) temporarily augment our existing staff because while they are experts at managing the OS platform and related services, they are not all equally experienced in developing applications. We are working to create a management layer for all our services so that they are manageable programmatically and all data surrounding them is accessible programmatically and that requires development of some software to glue together the various bits we already have in place. *Main Responsibilities:* Plan, develop and test new web applications that manage services and report on their application. Make modifications to existing code in order to enhance their operation. Suggest modifications to current practices that will enhance reliability, scalability and accuracy. Lead planning sessions in support of the above. Prioritize requests so that we can get functional code out into the wild quickly to learn from what it does and does not do..
