*Job Title: Unix Location: SUNNYVALE CA Duration: 6+ Months$40/HR is the MAX* Job Description: We are seeking one to two resources that can work side-by-side with application teams to develop signatures of the services that comprise their applications. A signature can be thought of as a regular expression that includes the username, command, and arguments of the running processes on a server that expose a service to the application or other applications. The ideal person for this role will have working knowledge of how applications are developed, how each layer of an application stack contribute to the application (web, app, db layers in particular), and comfortable working on a unix command line to examine running processes. This person will also need to be highly organized, self-motivated, deal well with ambiguity, and have good communication skills.
