The candidate should have strong experience working with SQL. · The app. will interface with XML services, MQ, EJB, REST services, Web services. · The application is component based and lives on the UPS intranet. · Manager is expecting about 6+ years of experience in a candidate, ideally having worked at large volume shops. *Explanation for Position * - Analyzes requirements, responsible for system documentation, process and detail oriented, proactive, builds cross portfolio relationships. - Describes complex activities. - Exemplary analytical and troubleshooting skills. - Comfortable with multitasking, resolving competing priorities and project deadlines within budget. - Strong developer testing (unit, integration, system, product test) skills. - Understands server-client computing and relational database environments. *Details of Position* - Supports Application Development Lifecycle Methodology of large scale applications to ensure performance and compliance. - Reviews project deliverables. - Provides guidance to development team to ensure quality. - Identifies areas for improvements. - Reviews and reports work progress to ensure timeliness, reviews work of others, monitors emerging technology trends and influences adoption. - Troubleshoots and debugs complex systems micro/macro. - Develops.
