*Middleware System Administrator* *Mclean, VA.* *1 year contract with potential for extension.* *No H1's need for this requirement.* Project: Middleware System Administrator Statement: A web infrastructure engineer needed for team responsible for administration of weblogic, webmethods, apache, and tomcat in Linux/Solaris environment. Engineer responsible for middleware environment build, configuration, administration and troubleshooting on multiple platforms. Responsibilities: •Will be assigned to 1-2 middleware areas as backup to tech lead. •Troubleshoot production problems, provide root cause analysis. •Build, configure and support middleware environments according to standards. •Develop automation to support the build and configure process, using Unix shell scripts, Java apps, BladeLogic, or other tools. •Develop shell script and web-based tools for automation of middleware configuration; develop processes to audit existing Middleware infrastructure for baseline compliance •Support integration projects, trouble shooting middleware issues and assisting developers on infrastructure related issues. •Review plans and proposed engineering solutions for adherence to standards, technical feasibility, and sound middleware usage; prepare implementation plans & procedures for changes to middleware infrastructure and then implement as required. •Update infrastructure documentation as required. •Participate in on-call rotation, weekend work as required.
