*Summary Job Skills:*



This is a hands-on position, responsible for complex T-SQL development,
query optimization, and extracting and transforming (ETL processes).
Expertise in Microsoft Business Intelligence technologies like SQL Server
Integration Services (SSIS), and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is
highly beneficial, and experience in data modeling and data normalization
techniques is essential.



*Responsibilities:*

   - Utilize advanced T-SQL skills for developing complex stored
   procedures, triggers, tables, user functions, user profiles, relational
   database models and data integrity, SQL joins and query writing
   - Extracting and transforming (ETL process) data using DTS/SSIS Import
   Export Data from various sources, Bulk Insert, Log Shipping, BCP and
   DTS/SSIS Packages
   - Development of Reports using SQL Server 2000/2005 Reporting Services
   (SSRS) and Microsoft Access and developed Custom Report and different types
   of Tabular Reports, Matrix Reports, drilldown reports
   - Designing and scheduling complex SSIS Packages for transferring data
   manually from multiple data sources like MS SQL Server 2000, Excel and Flat
   file to Microsoft SQL Server by using SSIS and DTS utility of SQL server
   2005/2008


   - Perform code inspections and refactor code to best practice standards.
   - Communicate effectively within both the product delivery and the
   internal development teams.
   - Takes on and leads SQL optimization and/or reporting related projects
   with varying degrees of complexity.
   - Ensure 100% de-identification of healthcare data for HIPAA compliance,
   utilizing complex SQL queries.
   - Performs data analysis and other reporting tasks, this involves data
   investigation and cleansing.



*Qualifications*

   - *12+ years experience in T-SQL, SSIS and complex SQL queries *
   - Highly proficient in the use of T-SQL for developing complex stored
   procedures, triggers, tables, user functions, user profiles, relational
   database models and data integrity, SQL joins and query writing
   - Experience in data modeling and data normalization techniques
   - Prior experience as a lead on development teams.
   - Project management experience is a plus.
   - SQL Server DBA experience is a plus.
   - BI tool experience is a plus
   - Should have diverse experience and exposure to MS SQL Server tools and
   technologies.
   - Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
   - Very experienced in writing, tuning and debugging complex SQL queries.
   - Must have professional demeanor, positive attitude, and excellent
   interpersonal, written and verbal skills in the English language.
   - Must be able to work well both independently and as a team member.
   - Should be able to work well with a minimal level of supervision and
   also have a proven ability to take initiative.
   - Experience in Microsoft Business Intelligence technologies like SQL
   Server Integration Services (SSIS), and SQL Server Reporting Services
   (SSRS) is a plus.
