This individual should have 5+ years as a DBA with a wide breadth of knowledge in the area of Oracle Database Administration. 1. Ability to manage Oracle 10.2 and 11gr2 on IBM AIX hardware – from creation to recovery 2. Very knowledgeable of Oracle 11gR2 RAC and Cluster configuration 3. Very knowledgeable of ASM storage 4. Ability to write shell scripts 5. Able to create single instance databases 6. Very knowledgeable of Oracle Recovery Manager for backups and recovery 7. Oracle Streams knowledge 8. Database tuning, object shrinks, reorgs 9. Shrinking tables, indexes, datafiles 10. Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager, navigation skills, understands how to utilize the tool to increase database performance, identify issues, etc. 11. Great communication skills wit team members 12. Willing to work after hours when necessary 13. Understands how to utilize the tool DBArtisan 14.
