*Position:- UNIX System Administrator* *Location: Boston, MA* *Duration:-12+ Months* *MOI:- Telephonic + Face 2 Face * *MBTA IT is looking for a UNIX System Administrator to handle the following functions:* · Install, configure, and support HPUX 11.31 Physical and Virtualized Servers including system performance analysis and tuning, space management, kernel tuning, patch deployment, network configuration, root cause analysis for OS related issue, disaster recovery and system restoration · Monitor, build and configure HP Integrity Virtual Machines (Integrity VM's), diagnose hardware malfunctions, log support case calls for hardware and software support issues · Support Oracle database engineering support staff, working knowledge of Oracle ASM, Oracle table space management, user creation, privileges, roles etc · Familiar with Oracle hot backups using a combination of incremental, differential and full RMAN and how data can be restored · Knowledge of Oracle archive data preservation on appropriate storage devices · Monitor and automate system administration tasks to keep track of disk space utilization, system performance and error conditions · Work with storage team to provision and support storage related changes and issues involving HP hardware and EMC Hardware connectivity · EMC Storage hardware familiarity including EMC VNX 5200, Clarrion CX Series Storage Arrays, Unisphere software management · Familiar with enterprise backup solution hardware and software including EMC Legato Networker, EMC Data Domain's, HP tape library hardware · Familiar with EMC backup software technologies including database integration models (Oracle 11G, SQL Server) · Familiar with Storage Area Network ring including creating and modifying SAN zones, persistent binding of HBA attached servers · Work with fellow engineer support staff who support Microsoft Server and VMWARE ESX systems Regards, Vijay Saraswat(Sr Technical Recruiter) Tel Off: 248.565.4747 | Ext. 108| F: 248.254.7211 | Email Id: vsaras...@tekshapers.com <hgul...@tekshapers.com> | W: www.tekshapers.com GTalk: vsaras...@tekshapers.com <ras...@tekshapers.com>/*vijay.rgtalent* Tekshapers Inc. |1441 E Maple Rd,Suit#301,Troy,Michigan, USA * Please consider the environment before printing this email.
