*Sr. Sharepoint Engineer* Washington DC 3 Months C2H…Only GC and US Citizen F2F interview is required *Position Description: * Serves as the SharePoint Software Engineer supporting the migration of the existing intranet web site from an IIS web server to a Microsoft SharePoint solution. Responsible for applying current graphics design and .NET technologies to develop, modify, maintain SharePoint server portals. Design, develop, and manage site content and capabilities and provide daily onsite maintenance of the existing MOSS portals. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. *Specific tasks will include the following:* · Develops software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs; conferring with stakeholders and IT Management; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions · Implementation of SharePoint-based workflows as well as development of Business Intelligence dashboards · Provide strong analytical and problem solving skills, expertise in C# & SharePoint developments · Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code. · Take initiative to solve complex problems · Setup intranet/team sites based on user department/roles and create the required navigation structure · Design and develop user interface elements in SharePoint with the desired structure of the site directories, including the major groupings and associations · Customize and deploy master page changes · Create custom SharePoint style sheets, site columns, lists, and templates · Create and modify web content pages using customized page layouts and master pages · Develop web parts, web service, user controls, event handlers and publishing processes · Customize the SharePoint search engine based on business requirements · Design, develop and customize workflows using SharePoint Designer and custom ASP.NET web forms · Developing forms, reports and the integration with outside applications · Develop a data viewer solution to access external data sources · Build reports using tools such as MS SQL Reporting Services or Excel · Seamlessly integrate existing components in SharePoint (e.g. InfoPath forms, MS Office Applications including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) · Maintain and follow the established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies on all projects in TFS · Work with development team on other MS technology related projects *Must Have Skills: * · 8 years experience leading large scale IT migrations to a Microsoft SharePoint solution · Experience as a software engineer in building and maintaining Program/Project level web sites and libraries in SharePoint 20i0/2013 · Understanding of SharePoint associated database models · Experience building advanced SharePoint workflows and workflow-based solutions · Experience building reports using tools such as MS SQL Reporting · Experience in integrating components in SharePoint, such as MS Office, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, etc. · Extensive experience in the design and development of web parts, forms, MS Office integration applications, workflows, page templates, master page customizations, and web services · Experience with SharePoint’s application services framework including implementation, configuration, and usages of Search, Managed Metadata, and User Profile Services. · Experience creating connections to systems allowing the display of dashboards using components such as: Excel, Structured Query Language (SQL) Reporting Service, etc. · Experience in the configure of collaboration sites and forms with authentication for specific user access · Experience of manage user access controls and security permissions for SharePoint · Strong C#, AJAX, JQuery, XML/, Client Object Model, and Service Oriented Architecture XLST, development knowledge and working experience · Must have a strong programming background authoring well written, well documented, modular and clean code · Microsoft MCPD 70-576, SharePoint 2010/2O13 Designing and Developing Applications certification is a plus but not required · Must be motivated, independent and self-sufficient.
