*Position: Systems Engineer* *Location: Fort Worth, TX* *Duration: 6-12 months+ * *JOB DESCRIPTION:* Responsible for all aspects of Print engineering. This includes research and design of technologies at Client to enhance printing capabilities for end users. Majority of the focus will be on standardizing print hardware and feature set globally and working with the Print service owner to fulfill design requirements based on business needs. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* • Research, design, and engineer server based print queues. • Research, design, and engineer Direct IP printing capabilities. • Continue to enhance features associated with print services. • Work closely with Print Service owner to understand business requirements and recommend solutions. • Work closely with Print service owner to ensure Printing standards are applied across the global enterprise. • Assist with expansion of managed print service globally. • Responds to the needs and questions of users concerning their access of resources on the network. • Develops and adheres to network and security standards. • Provides planning and technical support for company installations. • Provide assistance to other support groups as necessary. • Assists in the selection and recommendation of standardized equipment selection. • Stays abreast of new technologies as it applies to business needs. • Performs other duties as assigned. *QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:* To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. 8 to 10 years of experience in the field as a Systems Engineer.
