*Job Summary/Description:*

Resource should be strong *Java AND PL/SQL developer*.

Individuals who are comfortable with core Java, such as *server-side work*
and *thick-client Java* screen changes.

In addition, the work requires PL/SQL experience, such as procedures,
functions, packages, and triggers.

The project will be focused on expanding the size of the of our systems
“location number” from 4 digits to 5 digits.

The result is that database tables will be changing to allow for 5 digits,
and then any transactions that hit those tables will need to be adjusted
for the larger numeric value.

In addition, screens in the application are currently sized to hold 4
digits, will also need to be made larger to accommodate the value.

The developer will participate in the design, development and maintenance
of high-performance, end-user software. This position requires proven
technical abilities in the areas of Java/J2ee and applications development.
The software development position requires one to work with new cutting

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:



Work with program manager to understand business requirement and translate
that into technical design which is reviewed and signed off by stake holder,

- Create and own leading edge reusable server solutions, both systems and
engines if required.

- Create and own cross-platform SDKs supporting all console platforms as
well as PC.

- Design underlying database schema and interface,

- Implement high quality code with comprehensive unit testing,

- Provide integration support to development teams using the online
software.

- Troubleshoot issues raised from production and resolve customer problems.

- Evaluate and adopt technologies which improve the team efficiency and
platform capability

- Code review peer developer’s code and provide constructive feedbacks to
ensure consistency and quality of code



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED SKILLS:



- 8+ years of commercial software development.

- Deep Expertise with Java/J2ee development.

*- 6+ years with Java/J2ee*

*- Experience with Nosql is must have.*

*- Experience with Elastic Search is big plus.*

- Experience in building and running large scale distributed online
services is big plus

- Experience with large distributed database design is preferred

- Proven track record of design/architecture of a large components.
