Our client is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join a team of Senior
Developers who will be developing Java with REST API’s, utilizing the
Spring framework for a high-profile project.



*Required Skills:*

Bachelor's Degree in a related area.

10+ years of Java development experience is required.

Experience with REST API is required.

Distributed processing experience with Storm, Spark or NiFi a plus.

Big Data experience with HBase, Cassandra or Dynamo a plus.

Experience with Tomcat, Soap, JUnit, Splunk, Swagger and Cloud is preferred.

Has knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a
particular field.

Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

- Minimum of 10 years of Java/J2EE design and development experience

- Rest Web Services, SOAP, Core Java, JavaScript, HTML, WSDL, XML, Spring,
JDBC, JMS, SQL

- Very strong object-oriented design and development experience,
specifically in the area of J2EE design  patterns such as Model View
Controller, Command pattern, Session Facade, Data Access Object pattern,
etc.

- Experience over the full software development lifecycle.

- Very Strong written and oral communication skills.

- BS in Computer Science or related field.

The developer will participate in the design, development and maintenance
of high-performance, end-user software. This position requires proven
technical abilities in the areas of Java/J2ee and applications development.
The software development position requires one to work with new cutting
edge technology which leads to an exciting yet challenging time. One must
be able to solve problems through research and continuously look up new
ways to enhance the software and the company.



This position will be part of high visibility Research & Development Team.



PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:



Work with program manager to understand business requirement and translate
that into technical design which is reviewed and signed off by stake holder,

- Create and own leading edge reusable server solutions, both systems and
engines if required.

- Create and own cross-platform SDKs supporting all console platforms as
well as PC.

- Design underlying database schema and interface,

- Implement high quality code with comprehensive unit testing,

- Provide integration support to development teams using the online
software.

- Troubleshoot issues raised from production and resolve customer problems.

- Evaluate and adopt technologies which improve the team efficiency and
platform capability

- Code review peer developer’s code and provide constructive feedbacks to
ensure consistency and quality of code



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED SKILLS:



- 8+ years of commercial software development.

- Deep Expertise with Java/J2ee development.

*- 6+ years with Java/J2ee*

*- Experience with Nosql is must have.*

*- Experience with Elastic Search is big plus.*

- Experience in building and running large scale distributed online
services is big plus

- Experience with large distributed database design is preferred

- Proven track record of design/architecture of a large components.

- Ability to quickly learn complex systems and new technologies
