Must be Local for Face To Face Interview. The most important part – which We haven’t seen in many candidates is the SSIS experience. Responsibilites: The Senior Data Software Quality Assurance Engineer will perform a variety of quality assurance tasks including developing test strategy, test planning, test cases, conducting test execution, documenting defects, reporting defects and metrics. The Data Software Quality Assurance Engineer will provide as-needed test support to development team members. The Sr. Data Software Quality Assurance Engineer ensure data quality through repeatable testing including smoke testing, unit testing, negative testing, white / black box testing, ad-hoc testing, exploratory testing, system testing, regression testing, performance testing, User Acceptance Test (UAT), production implementation data validation and auditing, reporting, documentation, and training as needed. The ideal individual is comfortable working with little supervision both independently and in a small group setting to achieve data quality objectives. This is a hands-on technical role. A firm grasp of financial system concepts and proven data management ability is critical.* *Requirements: Relevant Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Information Technology, New Media, Web Development) or Equivalent Work Experience. Experience with life cycle testing of financial or accounting systems. 5 - 7 years of experience in software quality and/or development engineering. 3 - 5 years of experience ensuring data integrity using data validation and verification techniques. Comprehensive data-driven quality testing across integrated technology stack, creating complex test plans, cases and scripts. Comfortable with multiple database concepts, understanding of relational databases and SQL and writing complex SQL statements. SQL schema design and performance knowledge; expertise in data analysis and excellent debugging skills. Sales accounting and finance domain knowledge. Experience with commercial, custom, or open source testing tools. Strategic thinking skills, Strong oral and written communication. Flexible, able to shift direction with the demands of the business. Software quality certification. Audit control reporting for data accuracy. Data-driven business rule architecture experience. MS SQLServer and SSIS experience. Data modeling experience.
