*Position: Java developer * *Location: Philadelphia, PA* *Duration: 6 months* Java app dev with Big Data (Not a hadoop developer)- Philadelphia, PA- Locals only F2F interview required OPT gc or usc *Java Software Engineer with Big Data* *Description:* The Java Software Engineer will actively contribute to the definition, development, integration, test, documentation and support of highly utilized and scalable metrics platform. This hands-on position requires broad engineering competence and in-depth technical knowledge of analytics processing software solutions, as well as demonstrated experience successfully prioritizing, planning, organizing and executing software development projects in a fast paced dynamic environment. Responsible for the development of systems that process and aggregate large amounts of data in both real-time and delayed-processing environments. Candidate should provide well-considered patches, as well as determine current system limitations and compatibilities between subsystems, selection of new concepts and methodology, preparation of technical requirements and software design specifications and development of major routines and utilities. *Required Qualifications: * Ø 7+ years of Java software development engineering experience Ø Exceptional interpersonal communication skills: verbal, written, listening, including customer relationships Ø Experience in at least 3 of the following technologies: Cloudera Manager, Flume, Hadoop, HDFS, Map-Reduce, Storm, Kafka, Zookeeper, and MemSQL.
