*Role:* Fusion Oracle Middleware Administrator *Location:* Iowa City, Iowa *Type:* 6+ months contract Responsibilities: Under broad direction, assists in supervising other systems administrators and provides basic job training and guidance on a regular basis. Applies change management processes to install and maintain the company's infrastructure systems by installing, tuning, and patching operating system and application software under established guidelines. Assesses and resolves server and network issues via the Trouble Ticket process and utilizes appropriate vendor and site contacts as necessary. Coordinates with the server architecture team and disseminates relevant information to the group. Supervises others; allocates and monitors work, coordinates similar activities within a functional area. Interprets and applies directions originating at a higher level. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in an IT related discipline or equivalent related work experience and 6 years of experience in systems administration which includes experience in a corporate IT environment. Leadership and team building training desired. Required Skills / Experience: · Ability to design and solution on Middleware platform(s) from project requirements, translate to specs and requests, and then management of a 3rd party vendor to execute *(Note: this is not intended to be a hands on keyboard Middleware management role)* · Patch and vulnerability experience · Middleware software upgrade managements and planning Middleware Administration and Support (JBOSS, OC4J, Webcache servers, PLAY, OID\OVD, IAM) o SAML\LDSAP\AD experience o URL management and Security web protocols o Patch and vulnerability experience · Ability to self-start work, design new solution, and solve issue\troubleshooting · Ability to follow standard procedures and controls (e.g. Change Management) skill-sets that the candidates need to have for this assignment? · Experience working with managed service providers for Middleware needs o Experience with web, database, and storage solutions · What is the work environment like? (Fast-paced, independent working, team based, high-Volume Stress, etc.) · Large volume of legacy systems need to upgraded and solutioned. In addition, this role will need to be able to work both independently, and working with 3rd party vendors for remote network needs Term of Assignment Other / Notes: · Willing to select a candidate for hire via phone/web interviews. In addition this person must have excellent communication skills and the ideal candidate would be able to work independently and lead individual projects.
