Title: IS Engineer (Hardware Installer and Engineer) Location: San Jose, CA Duration: 12 Months Rates: $50/hr. Start: Immediate Education: B.E in electronics/ networking or related qualification Experience: 7 years of experience are required Required: Install, troubleshoot, and repair hardware, software, printers, phone and AV equipment. Diagnose and solve problems with hardware, software, and network. Enterprise email and calendaring systems. Microsoft Exchange 2010 and other versions, SMTP Sendmail, Messaging Hygiene technologies such as IronPort Security Appliances and understanding of various email clients such as Outlook, Apple Mail Ability to gather, interpret and proactively act on data with minimal supervision. Well organized, with strong analytical and problem solving skills. Demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail. Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects and ability to work well in a team as well as independently. Roles and responsibilities: Install, troubleshoot, and repair hardware, software, printers, phone and AV equipment. Review, audit, and revise policies affecting security and operability of hardware and software. Diagnose and solve problems with hardware, software, and network. Order equipment and software and coordinate with vendors. 7 years of experience are required. Scope of the project: Candidate will be involved in supporting technologies listed above from a Tier III engineering perspective, so advanced knowledge and experience with these tools is critical. Someone at this level should have an understanding of configuring as well as supporting these tools, easily pick up enterprise architectures for these technologies and have advanced troubleshooting skills.
