C2C Mandatory * Includes installing, configuring, patching, clustering, updating and monitoring the performance of the environment. * Includes analysis of all aspects of the existing infrastructure in order to provide recommendations to enhance system reliability, availability, serviceability and scalability. * The position requires in-depth knowledge of IBM Websphere 6.0/6.1/7.0/8.0 and experience in maintaining http web servers and load balancers, JVM heap tuning, and monitoring tools such as JMeter and HP Loadrunner.
Nice To Have: * Strong knowledge and experience with a Linux/WebSphere environment and the ability to code in one or more scripting languages is necessary. * Candidates with IBM WebSphere Certifications preferred. * Configuring WebSphere authentication and authorization with Active Directory and legacy LDAP servers. Responsibilities: * Responsible for supporting, maintaining and optimizing mission critical systems running on z/OS, AIX, Linux, and HP-UX environments. * The position involves periodically working nights and weekends and being on call for emergencies. * This is a leadership position requiring independent work skills as well as excellent team dynamics.
